NHS Treatment Costs
Under the NHS you will pay one of three price bands listed below.
We have a strictly limited capacity for adult patients on the NHS.
We are continuing to offer access to children on the NHS, for routine and emergency care with our dental therapist.
Band 1...Examination including Xrays £27.40
Band 2...General treatments e.g. fillings extractions £75.30
Band 3...Complex treatment e.g. crown/bridge/denture £326.70
Band 4...Urgent Treatment/Emergency Care £26.80
You may be eligible for free NHS treatment, if you are under 18, are aged 18 and in full time education, are an expectant mother or nursing mother, or if you are claiming certain benefits (e.g. family tax credits, job seekers allowance, income support, have a HC2 certificate).
Please ask at reception if you are unsure.
We are contracted by Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust to provide NHS dental services under a general dental services agreement.

Membership is available now and you can start to benefit from the plan immediately. Sign up at the practice or request an application form. We have a range of private treatments are available, for example, White composite fillings, Professional home whitening, Veneers, Clear Braces, Botox. Please ask your Dentist for an accurate treatment estimate of charges. If any aspect of your dental appearance concerns you, no matter how trivial it may seem, please discuss it with us. We will ask for a deposit at the start of your treatment of your private treatment, and the full amount should be paid on completion. NHS treatment costs may be requested in full prior to the appointment. |

The tooth shop flexible partial denture
It is lightweight bio compatible thermo plastic nylon appliance. It is a discreet, comfortable and secure appliance used ideally to replace one to four teeth between two existing natural teeth in any one section of the mouth, for either permenent or temporary use.
The Toothshop uniquely designs and produces each RNB to enable it to click in and out of position passively and securely exerting no unnecessary force on the teeth and gums when in place. The RNB creates very little or no undercuts where food debris and bacteria could sit between brushing. As you can see from our working examples, our unique technique enables us to keep the appearance of adjacent teeth at a very natural length, this allows us to produce even anterior bridges that are retentive and aesthetically pleasing where traditional methods just would not work.
