Due to the coronavirus crisis, we have been searching for a way that we can continue to serve our patients, even though we are temporarily closed. We are now offering virtual consultations.
STEP 1 - FILL IN A SIMPLE FORM AND TAKE 5 PHOTOS OF YOUR TEETH WITH YOUR OWN PHONE STEP 2 - YOUR PHOTOS ARE ANALYSED BY SPECIALISED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SOFTWARE AND THEN VERIFIED BY ONE OF OUR DENTISTS STEP 3 - YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL REPORT OF YOUR ORAL HEALTH BY EMAIL
Once you have your report you can call our reception team to discuss any aspects of your potential treatment plan or book in a video call with one of our dentists Maya or Luke. THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TILL THE END OF MAY ONLY.
Whether you are seeking a new patient assessment, routine examination, or emergency appointment, please feel free to contact reception via 01707 329634 or by email on firstname.lastname@example.org to request an appointment.
Please contact to discuss any queries or the length of appointment time required or any access requirements.
We understand that you have a busy schedule and recognise the need to provide an efficient service. We will make every effort to see you at your scheduled appointment time.
Kindly inform us if you cannot keep your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. We have a high demand for appointments and there are many patients in need of surgery time. If you cancel at short notice or fail to keep appointments you may be fined or may not be offered any further appointments with the practice.
We will charge for missed appointments or late cancellations. This allows us to run efficiently and maximise use of our in-demand surgery time for patients who need it.
All patients currently under our care with a genuine emergency will be seen within 24 hours. Please try to telephone the reception as early in the day as possible, please note you may not always be given a specific appointment time. We also provide an out of hours emergency service through the local primary care trust. Out of surgery hours please ring 0845 603 1409 for local on-call dentists or NHS direct on 0845 4647 or 111.
We welcome all feedback, positive or negative, and we are happy to hear your comments. Please feel free to fill in our patient questionnaires available in the waiting rooms or speak to a member of our team if there are any issues you wish to raise. If required, please contact the reception staff for a copy of the complaints procedure.
We take complaints very seriously and if you are not satisfied with our service in the first instance please contact our complaints manager on 01707 329 634 and in writing to Dr Maya Chohan, sending your complaint to 171 Knightsfield, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 7QG.
